Pedagogical practice and innovation
There is a strongly reflexive relationship between what gets taught at school and societal mores, norms and visions. The program of research in Pedagogical Practice and Innovation investigates this relationship and the kinds of teaching practices, learning environments and alternative forms of schooling that might be appropriate now and in the future. The research examines teacher learning in changing environments and new approaches to educating young people in ways that are relevant, equitable and sustainable. The program of research explores learning in both formal and informal contexts and provides insights into learning and schooling futures that align with (and contribute to) changes in society.
